7 and a half cups. the answer is 7 1/2 because 10/4 is 2 1/2 so 2 1/2 times 3 is 7 1/2

Answer:

7.5 cups

Explanation:

For this you'd need to set up a ratio of 4lbs : 3 cups = 10lbs : x cups

You can turn this into an equation by turning it into a fraction, so 3/4 = x/10

Then you would solve this like a regular equation

1. 3/4 = x/10

2. 10(3/4 = x/10)

3. 10 * 3/4 = x

4. 7.5 = x
