Hello.

First, let's clarify what the LCM stands for.

L stands for Least

C stands for Common

M stands for Multiple

So we need to find the Least Common Multiple of 2 and 4.

Let's list the first 5 multiples of 2:

2, 4, 6, 8, 10

Now, the first 5 multiples of 4:

4, 8, 12, 16, 20

As we can see, 4 is the LCM.

I hope it helps.

Have an outstanding day. :)
