Answer:

x = 58

y = 39

Explanation:

x = 58 (Vertically opposite angles)

x + 2y + (x-14) = 180 (Angles in a straight line)

=> x + 2y + x - 14 = 180

=> 2x + 2y = 180 + 14

=> 2(58) + 2y = 194

=> 116 + 2y = 194

=> 2y = 194 - 116

=> 2y = 78

=> y = 78/2

=> y = 39

44+58= 102
180-102= 78
78/2=39
