Solution:

We know that:

  • Diameter of circle = 36 in.
  • Radius of circle = Diameter/2 in.
  • Area of circle = πr²

Finding the radius of the circle:

  • Radius of circle = Diameter/2 in.
  • => Radius of circle = 36/2 in.
  • => Radius of circle = 18 in.

Finding the area of the circle:

  • Area of circle = πr²
  • => Area of circle = (3.14)(18²)
  • => Area of circle = (3.14)(324)
  • => Area of circle = 3.14 x 324 = 1017.36 in²

Answer:

  • 1,017.36 in²

Solution:

The area of the circle is the region occupied by it in the two dimensional plane.

Area of a circle is given by ;

  • πr²

The diameter of the circle is 36inches

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ Radius = D / 2

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ Radius = 36 / 2

‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ➙ Radius = 18 inches

Therefore, area :

A = πr²

A = 3.14 × ( 18 )²

A = 3.14 × 324

➝ A = 1017.36
