So first find a common denominator.
It is 15. 1/3 turns into 5/15, because
3x5 = 15 & 5x1 = 5
There equaling 5/15
5/15 + 7/15 = 12/15
Both are divisible by 3
3 goes into 12, 4 times
3 goes into 15, 5 times
Giving you the final answer of 4/5

1/3 + 7/15 =
4/5
Therefore the answer is 4/5. So Kenneth did 4/5 of his laundry in total.
Hope this helps!
