set the equation for the area equal to the equation of the perimeter.

Then solve for x

area = perimeter

3x = 2(x + 3)

Distribute

3x = 2x + 6

subtract 2x from both sides

x = 6

perimeter

p = 2(x + 6)

p = 2(3 + 63)

p = 18

Area

a = 3x

a = 3*6

a = 18

----------------------------

Use the same method on the remaining figures
