Find the equation of the line with Slope = 3 and passing through (4, 10) .write your equation in the form y=mx+b

The slope is given so you straight away apply it to the equation,

Y=mx+b

Y=3x+b

Now replace the points x and y to find b (y-intercept)

10=3(4)+b

10-12=b

b= -2

Final answer:

Y=3x-2
