Let a pillow is x and a quilt is y.
4x+5y=53
6x+5y=57
Subtract
4x+5y-6x-5y=53-57
-2x=-4
x=2
Put value of x in any equation
4*2+5y=53
8+5y=53
5y=53-8
5y=45
Y=9
Cost of each pillow is 2 and cost of each quilt is 9
