Answer:3(x - 9) = 15

Explanation:

3(x - 9) = 15

3x - 27 = 15

3x = 42

x = 14

Check it.

3(14 - 9) = 15

3 x 5 = 15

It checks.

Answer:

3*(x-9)=15

either

3*(9-x)=15

I'm not sure but I think it's the first one.
