Explanation:

Since the graph of g(x) still passes through the origin and is u shaped, it is also a quadratic graph but with a different coefficient of x².

Let g(x) = ax²

When x=2, g(x) = 1

Hence, 2a = 1

a = 0.5

Therefore, g(x) = 0.5x²
