We have,


y+2>(1)/(3)(6x+9)

On simplification, we get


y+2>(1)/(3)(6x)+(1)/(3)(9)


y+2>2x+3

Subtracting 2 from both sides of the above inequality, we get


y+2-2>2x+3-2


y>2x+1

Therefore, the required inequality is
y>2x+1.
