y = - (4x)/(9) + 3

Move the expression to the left-hand side and change its sign

y + (4x)/(9) = 3

Multiply both sides of the equation by 9

9y + 4x = 27

Use the commutative property to reorder the terms

\underline{ \underline{4x + 9y-27 = 0}}
