The manager of a student bowling team bought 3 shirts and 4 caps for $66. At another time, he bought 7 shirts and 3 caps for $116 at the same unit prices as for the first purchase.

If S = cost of a shirt and C = cost of a cap, what is one of the equations that can be used to solve the problem?

Answer:

"3S + 4C = 66"

Explanation:

(6 + 2 + 14 = 22s)

(8 + 17 + 19 = 44c)

22 + 44 = 66

(The math above are examples)

So, it's "3S + 4C = 66"

Truly sorry if my math is incorrect

Bye, have a great day/night.
