x= -1 or x= 5/3

Explanation:

3x²–2x=5​

3x²-2x-5=0

(3x+_)(x-_)

(3x-5)(x+1)

(I just use a guess and check method to see what will fill the blanks and let the expression expand to become 3x²–2x=5​)

3x-5=0

3x=5

x= 5/3

x+1

x=-1

x= -1 or x= 5/3
