Answer: -117/5
To solve this, you want to isolate the ‘t’. To do this, you will multiply both sides of the equation by the reciprocal.
5/13(t) = -9
13/5 • 5/13 = 1
-9 • 13/5 = -117/5
Now that ‘t’ is isolated, you will have your answer t = -117/5
