P.S.345 had a bake sale to raise money for the sports program. 65 brownies were sold at $1.20 each, 25 pies were sold at $4.50 and 93 doughnuts were sold at $0.75 each. The school wanted to raise a total of $300. Was the school able to reach its goal? If, not how much more does it need to raise?

Answer:

The were not able to reach their goal and they need $39.75. Hope this helps!

Explanation:

Multiply the amount of goods by how much each thing cost.

Repeat that for each kind of good.

Add each amount together.

To find out how much more you need, subtract your starting amount form the amount you made.
