If a 2.0Ω resistor and a 4.0Ω resistor are connected with a 12 volt battery, what is the total resistance of the circuit?

4.8Ω

Series:
R = 2 + 4 = 6

Parallel:
R = 1/2 + 1/4 = 0.75

I am assuming this is in series since the parallel answer isn’t up there. The voltage doesn’t help us determine total resistance.
