x^(3) -16x^(2) -18x


2x(x^(2) -8x-9)

2x(x-9)(x+1)

To verify, set each answer = 0

2x = 0, x=0

x-9 = 0, x=9

x+1 = 0, x=-1

Now, plug each value back into the equation and make sure each one equals 0.
