Answer: 0.67

where the 6's go on forever. Your teacher only wants 2 significant figures though. That means you'll round to the nearest hundredth to get 0.67

The 0 to the left of the decimal point is not a significant figure. The reason being is because we can rewrite 0.67 into 6.7*10^(-1); we can see the coefficient 6.7 having two sig figs.
