Given:

a=-(3)/(4)

b=(4)/(5)

To verify:

a/ b\\eq b/ a

Solution:

We have,

a=-(3)/(4)

b=(4)/(5)

Now,

a/ b=(a)/(b)

a/ b=(-(3)/(4))/((4)/(5))

a/ b=-(3)/(4)* (5)/(4)

a/ b=-(15)/(16) ...(i)

And,

b/ a=(b)/(a)

b/ a=((4)/(5))/(-(3)/(4))

b/ a=(4)/(5)* (-(4)/(3))

b/ a=-(16)/(15) ...(ii)

From (i) and (ii), it is clear that

a/ b\\eq b/ a

Hence verified.
