Answer:

Okay so yes the answer is 15

Explanation:

It begins with 4X11 which is 44

So the equation becomes 44-x+4=33

Then I add 44 plus 4 which is me adding all the available terms which is 48

Then I subtracted 33 from 48 to find the value of x

And 48-33=15

So there you pretty much have it.

To be sure you can plug the answer in.

4x11=44

44-(x) which is 15 so 44-15=29

29+4=33

There ya have it!

Explanation:

4\cdot \:11-x+4=33

\mathrm{Multiply\:the\:numbers:}\:4\cdot \:11=44

44-x+4=33

\mathrm{Group\:like\:terms}

-x+44+4=33

\mathrm{Add\:the\:numbers:}\:44+4=48

-x+48=33

\mathrm{Subtract\:}48\mathrm{\:from\:both\:sides}

-x+48-48=33-48

\mathrm{Simplify}

-x=-15

\mathrm{Divide\:both\:sides\:by\:}-1

(-x)/(-1)=(-15)/(-1)

Simplify

x=15
