A circular flower bed is 23 m in diameter and has a circular sidewalk around it that is 4 m wide. Find

the area of the sidewalk in square meters. Use 3.14 for it.

Think of this as a circle in a larger circle, and the area thats only taken by one circle is the area of the path.

One Circle has area 11.5, while the other has a area of 15.5

The area of the smaller circle is 11.5^2*pi or 132.25pi

The area of the larger circle is 15.5^2*pi or 240.25pi

The area of the path is 108pi or 339.12
