So, a ticket cost 12$.

We need to find the price when it of 8% off, whihc is tecnically 92% of the orginal price.

Putting this into decimal form:

0.92

So to find this price, we need to multiply the orginal price by the percentage:

12*0.92

0.02*12 is 2*24 adding 2 decimals which equals 0.24

0.9*12 is 12*9 adding 1 deecimal which equals 10.8

Add them together: 0.24+10.8 = 11.04

So 11.04 is our new cost.
