Answer:

x = 6/k

Explanation:

kx + 12 = 3*kx

to make like terms on same side shift kx to right hand side . when u shift positive kx to other side it becomes negative

12 = 3kx - kx

12 = 2kx

shift 2 to left hand side when u shift multilication changes to division.

12/2 = kx

6 = kx

to find x u must shift k to other side . here also same since k and x are multilied when k shifts to others side it becomes divisor.

6/k = x

Hi there!

I believe your answer is:

\boxed{x = (6)/(k)}

Here’s why:

⸻⸻⸻⸻

\boxed{\text{Calculating the Answer...}}}\\\\kx+12=3kx\\------------\\\rightarrow kx+12 - 12 = 3kx-12\\\\\rightarrow kx = 3kx - 12\\\\\rightarrow kx - 3kx = 3kx - 3kx - 12\\\\\rightarrow -2kx = -12\\\\\rightarrow (-2kx = -12)/(-2k)\\\\\rightarrow \boxed{x=(6)/(k); k\\eq 0}

Hope this helps you. I apologize if it’s incorrect.
