What effect did the Bubonic Plague, or Black Death, have on the feudal system?

Answer:

The first effect- After the black death farmers became more valuable so they started to increase the prices of their crops and gained more money. When they had the money they would leave their lords and buy freedom. This led to a break in the economy.

The second Effect- The church's power decreased. Every time someone would pray that their family wouldn't die of the plague and they would contract the plague they knew that the church lied to them. They started doubting the church's ability to stop the crisis.

The black death led to the end of fuedalism.
