Explanation:

  • Total number of coins he collected = 250 coins
  • Percentage of coins he collected which were foreign = 76 %

So,

→ Number of coins he collected which were foreign = 76% of 250

→ Number of coins he collected which were foreign =
(76)/(100) × 250

→ Number of coins he collected which were foreign =
(76)/(10) × 25

→ Number of coins he collected which were foreign =
(1900)/(10)

Number of coins he collected which were foreign = 190

Now,

→ Other coins he collected = Total coins - Number of coins he collected which were foreign

→ Other coins he collected = 250 - 190

Other coins he collected = 60

Therefore, he collected 60 other coins.
