Answer:

x = 7

Explanation:

given:

AM is the median

BM = 14x

MC = 6x + 5x

since the median is drawn fron vertex A to BC it bisects the BC into two equal halves. So,

14x = 6x + 54

14x - 6x = 54

8x = 54

x = 54/8

x = 7

Answer:

x = 7

Explanation:

A median bisects the opposite side length, therefore

14x = 6x+56

8x = 56,

x = 7
