Given:

A cube has square sides with area
x^2+24x+144.

To find:

The expression that represents the surface area of the cube.

Solution:

We have

The area of each side of cube =
x^2+24x+144

Number of sides of a cube = 6

We know that, the total surface area of the cube is the product of number of sides of the cube and the area of each side. So, the total surface area of the cube is

SA=6(x^2+24x+144)

SA=6(x^2)+6(24x)+6(144)

SA=6x^2+144x+864

Hence, the expression that represents the surface area of the cube is
6x^2+144x+864.
