Explanation:

first arrange the data from ascending to descending order.

data = 6,8,10,12,14

median = N +1/2 (N means no of data)

=5 + 1/2

=6/2

=3 th term

=10

therefore median is 10

point to remember : if u are are to find the first quartile , median , or third quartile then u should arrange the data from ascending to descending order .
