Jane has a bag of candy.She gives 8 pieces to her friend. Then janes grandmother buys Jane 5 more pieces of candy than she had origanally.Now Jane has 27 pieces of candy.How many pieces of candy were in janes bag orignally

Jane originally had 30 pieces of candy.

Explanation:

27 plus the eight pieces she had before

gives you 35. Subtract it by the 5 pieces her grandma gave her and you get 30.
