a^2 + b^2 =c^2

here 9 and 40 are the legs of triangle so let them be a nd b respectively.And x is hypotenuse so let it be c

9^2 + 40^2 = x^2

81 + 1600 = x^2

1681 = x^2


√(1681) = x

41 =x
