i know this isnt true but WHY pleasse explain why its wrong and show the work!!

The reason why it isnt true is because you cannot combine exponents that have different bases.

Explanation:

So, with the problem shown below, it is
3^5*2^4

This cannot be multiplied.

To get
6^9, you would need 6^4*6^5

So basically, its like ths:

If two exponents have to same base, they can be added together. THis adds the exponents, but leaves the bases the same.

If two exponents have different bases, they cannot be added together. You would have to distrubute both the numbers exponents then multiply them together.

For instance, with
3^5*2^4, you would have to make it 243+16

This would equal 259.

As we can see,
6^9 is over 10 million, much bigger than this.
