This is because either the x or y axis can be set to a infinitly large number.

We can instantly set up a 2 things for this graph.

We see that y NEVER reaches postive infinity. This is because both left and right sides of the graph have downwards slopes.

This removes our second answer, because it is postive infinity for y.
