Given -

Length of line PQ = 8 cm

In order to get a line PQ’=3/4 of PQ, we first need to divide the line PQ into four equal parts and each of these parts would be of equal lengths i.e 8cm/4 = 2 cm

Now out of these 4 parts, three are to be taken to form line PQ'

So length of PQ' = 3*2 cm = 6 cm

Ration should be 6:8 = 3:4
