base area of a pyramid=a^2

=11^2

=121 in.^2

area of triangular face=
4((1)/(2) )*a*l

=
2*11*15

=
330 inch^2

surface area= base area + area of triangular faces

=121 in.^2 + 330 in.^2

=451 in.^2
