What is the easiest way to convert a mixed number to a fraction?

Answer:

You multiple the denominator by the hole number then you add the total from that by the numerator and you keep the pre-existing denominator.

Explanation:

For example 2 1/3 so you will multiple 3 denominator by 2 the hole number which gives you 6 then you add 1 the numerator which gives you 7 so the answer will be 7/3 because you keep the pre-existing denominator.

Take 4 1/5 as an example

First multiply the whole number by the denominator

4*5=20

Then add that number you get to the numerator

20+1=21

Lastly keep the denominator the same

So 21/5
