Read the following description:

In a story, a teenage boy becomes more and more deeply
involved in a video game he plays online with strangers
from around the world. He neglects his real-world friends,
choosing instead to spend time online with people he has
never met. When he experiences a tragedy, he finds that
his online friends rally around him with support, even
arranging deliveries of food to his home to help him cope.
By ending the story this way, what effect is the author most clearly trying to
have on the reader?
O A. The author wants the reader to reflect on the idea that a
community is defined by its users.
O B. The author wants the reader to acknowledge the progress
technology has made.
O C. The author wants the reader to consider what constitutes reality.
O D. The author wants the reader to appreciate the pleasures of the real
world.

Answer:

I want to say the awnser is B because it didn't give the impression his real life friends were bad and this passage is based off of technology, games and food delivery.
