NO LINKS NO FILES! Jill says that the rules for multiplying and dividing integers are alike. Do you agree? Explain.

Explanation:

because in multiply negatives, the 2 negatives turn into a positive or multiplying positive and negative (and vice versa) becomes a negative still so the rules of multiplying and dividing are not alike integers. (For dividing it is the same!)

Answer:

Multiplying and dividing fractions are essentially the same process which you multiply the numbers straight across and no need for common denominators. Except in division of fractions, the second fraction is flipped so that the denominator is on the top and the numerator is on the bottom (reciprocal).
