Function is a set of ordered pairs that do not have same domain or x-value. That means in a set of ordered pairs, the domain cannot have same value.

The only relation that isn't function here is the last choice because in a set of ordered pairs, there are two -5's which is repetitive. Other choices do not have same x-values in one set except for the last choice.

Answer

  • {(-5,2),(3,-9),(-1,8),(-5,9)}

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any doubts!
