Next number is 45, sequence goes times 3 then minus 3

The number of the sequence are 2, 3, 6, 15

The difference between 2 and 3 is 1 i.e. 30.

The difference between 3 and 6 is 3 i.e. 31.

The difference between 6 and 15 is 9 i.e. 32.

Let the next number in the given sequence be some natural number x.

Now, following the pattern, the difference between 15 and x has to be equal to 33=27.

i.e.

x−15=27⟹x=27+15=42

Hence

The next number in the sequence is 42.
