When you graph a system of linear equations, why does

the intersection of the two lines represent the solution of the system?

Every point on a line satisfies the related linear equation. A point that is on both lines (the intersection point) satisfies both equations.

Every point on a line does not satisfies the related linear equation

Every point on a line called slope of line.

Every point on a line called skew point.
