Although the Germans had more planes and pilots, the British were able to fight then off and win the battle. This was because they had the advantage of fighting over their own territory apart from already having a radar.

Answer:

The British won the Battle of Britain due to a confluence of factors. ... The Dowding System's pioneering use of radar (which could warn the RAF of enemy attacks), aircraft and ground defense gave Great Britain a competitive advantage.

I hope it help you
