The height of the taller building is :

(Height of shorter building + h)

Height of shorter building is given as 176 m

The height, h can be obtained using Pythagoras :

Tan θ = opposite / Adjacent

Tan 13 = h / 40

h = tan 13 * 40

h = 9.235 m

Hence, height of taller building :

176 m + 9.235 m

= 185.235 m

= 185 m
