Answer:

A verb complement is a word, phrase, or clause that follows the verb to add more information and strengthen the meaning and impact of the verb in a sentence

Example: Granny left Raoul all her money. (Both "money" [the direct object] and "Raoul" [the indirect object] are said to be the verb complements of this sentence.)
