I think this belongs in the math section but anyways

x/y = 3/4

x+4/y+4 = 10/13

x = 3/4y

x+4 = 10/13(y+4)

x = 10/13(y+4) - 4

3/4 y = 10/13(y+4) - 4

3/4 y - 10/13y - 12/13

-1/52 y = -12/13

1/52 y = 12/13

y = 48

x = 36

------------

36+4 = 40

48+4 = 52

40:52 = 10:13

The original numbers were 36 and 48

Hope this helps!
