The triangles are similar, what is the value of x?

Two triangles that intersect at a single vertex. The smaller triangle has an upper angle measuring 126 degrees and the angle where the vertices intersect measuring 16 degrees. The larger triangle has an upper angle measuring 126 degrees. The exterior angle made where the triangles intersect above the point of intersection measures 3 x degrees.
x = 16
x = 38
x = 42
x = 54
