A perpendicular bisect or, cd, is drawn through point c in ab.

if the coordinates of point a are (-3,2) and the coordinates of point b are (7,6), the x-intercept of cd is __. Point __ lies in CD

If the coordinates of point A are (-3, 2) and the coordinates of point B are (7, 6), the x-intercept of Line CD is
( 3,0), (18/5,0), (9,0), or (42/2, 0),

Point (-52, 141), (-20, 57), (30, -71), or (54, -128) lies on Line CD.

m AB = 2 / 5
C = (2, 4)
m CD = -5 / 2

Equation of line passing though C and D

y = (-5/2)x + b
4 = (-5/2)(2) + b
4 = -5 + b
9 = b
y = (-5/2)x + 9

For the x-intercept y = 0
∴ y = (-5/2)x + 9
0 = (-5/2)x + 9
5/2 x = 9
x = 2/5 × 9
= 18/5
x-intercept = (18/5, 0)
