They are deposited through erosion. Sedimentary rocks are formed when sediment is deposited out of air, ice, wind, gravity, or water flows carrying the particles in suspension. This sediment is often formed when weathering and erosion break down a rock into loose material in a source area.

Answer:

Through Erosion

Step-by-step explanation:

When rocks erode, they are transported to another location. They stay until other rocks which are in small fragments clump together to form it. It is mostly from sea or areas where there was a sea eg. desert because they erode and fall into the sea and as time goes on, layers of rock begin to form and creates a sedimentary rock
