We can use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the length of x. We know that the Pythagorean Theorem says that a²+b²=c². We can substitute the values 20, 15, and x into the equation.

20²+15²=x²

Simplify.

400+225=x²

Add.

625=x²

Find the square root of both sides to solve the equation.

√625=√x²

25=x

Note:
