Marie made a model (shown below) of the square pyramid she plans to build when she grows up.

Find the surface area of the model please!

8 x 5 = 40 but since it is a triangle, you have to divide by two which is 20
20 x 4(because there are 4 triangles)
= 80
the surface area of the square pyramid is 80

Answer 2

Base: 8x8=64
Sides: 8x5=40 40 divide by 2= 20
20x4=80
80+64=144m^2
